Today is April 5, ching Ming festival.

My father and I went back to the countryside hometown for ancestor's grave. We came to the ancestral grave, dad with his shovel the tombs to repair, and then put the tribute to the grave, took me to the ancestors on three head, got up and down a bowl of wine, spilled a circle around the tombs. 今天是四月五日，清明節。

今天早上我八點就到了辦公室，想要好好地努力地開始一天的新工作，像昨晚發誓的那樣，勇敢大方些。一進門我就看見清潔工大姐在開燈開空調準備打掃衛生了。在一間只有我們兩個陌生人的房間里，我想我不能把她當作空氣。爸爸說，進入職場，首先要學會和人相處。我含笑輕聲問這位大姐是不是每天都要比我們正常上班提前一小時來打掃衛生，還在她為我的空間清掃的時候不失時機地重重地說了聲謝謝。這一招很奏效，大姐一開始有些靦腆地回答我，后來便主動問我在哪上學，實習多久之類的話。氣氛一下子變得很溫馨和愉快，給我一天的工作打下了良好的基礎。

周小姐剛剛進門，簡單處理了幾件事后，便給了我第一件工作——閱讀文件。打開文件柜，我看見厚厚的三疊文件袋。周小姐告訴我右邊兩疊是進口的，左邊的是出口的，并囑咐我慢慢讀。深呼吸之后，我勇敢地抱走了三大本進口貿易的文件，開始了我艱辛的歷程。密密麻麻的單據，術語都是我從未或很少接觸的，而且全是英語。整整一個早上，我都浮浮沉沉地掙扎在商業發票、提單、質量分析表、保險單、價格質疑通知書、增值稅專用發票、海關進口貨物價格申報表、貨到通知、化驗鑒定證書、報價單等專業貿易文件中，范圍涉及日本、韓國、泰國、印度、澳大利亞、英格蘭的不同公司。這是我平生第一次自己經手這些文件，誠惶誠恐。在閱讀這些厚厚的承載著一擔擔生意的紙張的過程中，我有些欣喜地發現扎實的英語功底派的上大用場。只要有一點貿易常識，就能憑對中文的印象或字面意思理解英文概念。而且，最令我沒有想到的是，我在大二學的國際貿易實務的通選課竟然幫了我很大的忙，也節省了我不少時間。那些時常出現的諸如FOB、CIF之類的貿易術語都是我們課上最主要的內容。我雖然學得不精，但稍微上網鞏固一下，便能知道個大概。就這樣，我借助自己東拼西湊的課外知識，八年的英語底子，google的瘋狂搜索以及周小姐的答疑，再加上金山詞霸的幫助，我便在一整天內大概了解了公司整個進出口貿易需用到的文件情況，包括格式、內容等等。

一天下來，我抄下了不少專業詞匯，對公司工作的情況及各人的分工也有了一個比較清晰的了解，收獲頗豐。

下午快下班時，朱先生把我叫進辦公室，布置給我一項任務——從明天起，整理公司改版網站的中英文文字，并對其措辭、造句、翻譯和結構進行修改潤色，以便早日打印出來制成網頁。這是我比較擅長和喜歡的，我相信我一定能完成得比較好。

好累啊！在公司上班就是這樣，即時是實習，也不得輕松。但我覺得真正的挑戰才剛剛開始，我有信心接受它。

端午節(The Dragon Boat Festival)

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double Fifth Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals, the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year.

The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man, but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfav or in the emperors court.

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor, in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan, the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan, their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.
