我們帶好蒼蠅拍、扎了小孔的瓶子，來到了一片荒草地上，開始準備捉螞蚱。
我左瞧瞧，右瞧瞧，愣是一直螞蚱的影子也沒有看見，看見爸爸手里的“戰利品”已經越來越多，我的心里越來越急，爸爸放下手里的“工作”，慢慢告訴我：“這些螞蚱啊，最愿意躲在草叢里，我們要‘打草驚蛇’，發現它們的落腳點在哪里，然后迅速拍到它。”我聽了爸爸的話，認真的找起來，功夫不負有心人，終于讓我看見了一只又大又肥的螞蚱，它一跳，我一撲，它一飛，我就跟著跑，最后我看見它停到了一片樹葉上，我拍子迅速一拍，螞蚱被我打暈了，我用手輕輕地捏住它的翅膀，放入了瓶子里。
